The program is based on your capacity for visual recall. Click on a black square to see what is behind it and click on another to match the first one. It is simple to use but quite challenging.
Select practice in the game menu to better your chances of beating the computer. Play to improve the number of flips you need to complete the game. If you do it in eighty flips you are extremely lucky and should probably go out and buy a lottery ticket.
MEMORY lives up to it's name by remembering your preferred setups.
One option is called play tricks. Try and figure out what it does.
MEMORY is a shareware program. Included in the game is a special spot in the screen called the "cheat spot". It is not impossible to discover it by yourself but it should prove very hard to do so. Pay the shareware cost of ten dollars ($10) and you will receive full documentation.
MEMORY folows the standard Macintosh interface and works with both HFS and MFS. For those who are curious about the way things are done, MEMORY is available in source format, with documentation, on disk. The cost is twenty five dollars ($25). Experienced Pascal interpreter programmers who want to switch to a Pascal compiler will find a wonderfull example to study.
